HCS is a close-knit community of students, faculty, parents and alumni who all share a common vision for the school. You will see students’ artwork and assignments on display in our hallways and in our classrooms. You will also immediately feel the sense of order and camaraderie that is essential to creating a harmonious atmosphere conducive to learning.

After thirty years of equipping young minds in the City of Kawartha Lakes, HCS has developed into an intimate school where students form positive bonds not only with each other and their teachers, but with the entire school community. We encourage and support each student to achieve their personal best, both academically and socially. Students learn their value as individuals, with much to offer both our immediate school community as well as the global community.
