Primary Teacher(s)
Heritage Christian School invites applications for a full-time equivalent Primary Teacher position for the 2026–2027 school year, which may be filled by one teacher or a combination of part-time instructors.
We are seeking candidates who demonstrate a love for Christ, a passion for learning, and the ability to create an engaging classroom environment. Experience or skills in French, Outdoor Education, and/or Physical Education are considered assets.
Preference will be given to candidates with Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) certification and/or a Christian school educator’s certificate (CSTC or ACSI). Compensation follows the 2026–2027 Edvance/Vocate salary grid.

Supply Teacher
Heritage Christian School, a thriving K-8 School in Lindsay, Ontario is currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Supply Teachers to join our team for the upcoming 2024/2025 school year. As a Supply Teacher at Heritage Christian School, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, providing coverage for classroom teachers during their absences. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a consistent and positive learning experience for our students.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacher.

Maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment.

Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.

Uphold school policies and ensure student safety and well-being.

Communicate effectively with students, staff, and administration.

Report on student progress and classroom activities as required.
Qualifications:

Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) certification or equivalent.

Experience working with children in a classroom setting.
